Privacy Policy

Snapgo Service Private Limited ("Snapgo", "we", "our", or "us") runs the Snapgo mobile app and the snapgo.co.in website, where you can book flights, hotels, outstation and airport cabs, shuttles, intercity rides and tour packages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using Snapgo, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information: your mobile number (used to sign in with a one-time password), name, email address, and optionally your gender, date of birth, profile avatar and emergency contacts.

Traveller details: for flight and hotel bookings, the names, gender, date of birth and contact details of each traveller or guest. For international flights, passport number, expiry and nationality; for some fares, a PAN, as the airline or hotel requires.

Location: your device's precise location, only while you are using the app, to fill in pickup points and suggest nearby services. We do not track your location in the background.

Bookings and payments: your bookings, cancellations and refunds, and your Snapgo wallet balance and transactions. Card, UPI and bank details are entered with our payment partner, Razorpay; we do not see or store them.

Saved places: addresses you save for quicker booking.

Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, a push notification token, the advertising ID, and how you use the app (screens viewed, bookings started and completed), collected through Firebase Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) SDK.

To create and secure your account and sign you in.

To make, change and cancel bookings with airlines, hotels, drivers and other travel partners.

To take payments, process refunds and run your Snapgo wallet.

To send tickets, vouchers, booking updates and support messages by app notification, SMS, WhatsApp and email.

To contact you about a booking you started but did not finish.

To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

To understand how the app is used and improve it, and to measure our advertising.

We share only what each party needs to do its job:

Airlines, hotels and our travel supplier (Tripjack): traveller and contact details for your flight or hotel booking.

Drivers and cab partners: your name, phone number and pickup and drop points for a cab, shuttle or intercity booking.

Razorpay: payment and refund processing.

Service providers: Google Firebase (hosting, sign-in, database, notifications and analytics), Meta (app analytics and ad measurement), and our SMS, WhatsApp and email providers — each bound to use the data only on our behalf.

Legal authorities: when required by law or to protect someone's safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on Google Cloud infrastructure, which encrypts it at rest. Access to booking and payment records is restricted to our servers and authorised staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

You can access and correct your profile in the app at any time, and ask us for a copy of your data or to restrict how we use it. You can turn off marketing messages and notifications in your device settings.

Deleting your account: in the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, or email us. Full steps, and what is deleted and kept, are at snapgo.co.in/delete-account.

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your sign-in, profile and saved addresses are deleted. Booking, payment, refund and wallet transaction records are kept for up to 8 years, as Indian tax and accounting law requires, and records tied to an open dispute are kept until it is resolved. Usage statistics may be kept in anonymised form that cannot identify you.

A Snapgo account is for people aged 18 and over. An adult booking for a child (for example, a child passenger on a flight) provides that child's details for the booking, and we use them only to fulfil it. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date, and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Snapgo after an update means you accept the revised policy.
