**Personal Information:** Name, email address, phone number, Aadhaar number (via DigiLocker for KYC), optional profile picture, gender (verified through Aadhaar), and emergency contact details.

**Location Data:** Real-time GPS data for ride matching, pickup and drop-off locations, and trip location history.

**Usage Data:** Ride history and preferences, in-app messaging, payment and transaction records, device information, and app usage statistics.

We use your data for ride matching and facilitation, identity verification and platform safety, payment processing, ride updates and notifications, customer support, service improvement, and legal compliance.

Snapgo uses DigiLocker — a Government of India initiative — for Aadhaar-based identity verification. Your Aadhaar information is processed securely through DigiLocker's API and is not stored on our servers. We retain only your verification status and essential identity information required for platform safety.

Other Users: Your profile name, photo, and KYC verification status (for safety purposes).

Payment Processors: To facilitate fee and subscription processing.

Legal Authorities: When required by law or to protect safety.

Service Providers: Third parties bound by confidentiality agreements who assist in operating our platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, secure servers with regular audits, access controls and multi-factor authentication, and suspicious activity monitoring. Please note that no method of internet transmission is 100% secure, and we continuously work to improve our protections.

You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate information, delete your account and associated data, opt out of marketing communications, download a copy of your data, and restrict processing in certain circumstances. We retain your data while your account is active. Trip history is retained for dispute resolution. Chat records are kept for safety verification. Payment records are retained as required by law. After account deletion, data may be retained in anonymized form for analytics purposes only.

Snapgo is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover that a minor has provided us data, we will promptly delete it.
